I've never used a video iPod with Rockbox but I do use an iRiver H340 and
I'd highly recommend it.  Apart from having to perform a couple of hard
resets I've had no big problems with my player since installing Rockbox and
the big advantage (over the iPod) in my view is that the iRiver has butons
for accessing menu options and your files as opposed to the touch wheel you
get on an iPod.  I'm guessing it must be a hit and miss affair using an iPod
if you can't see the screen at all.

I have an option to get either an Irever h340, or an Ipod vedio 60gb.  I
cannot decide which one to go for.  How do you find these products?  Which
one is the best choice?  I know this is quite subjective, but, I have not
used either of them and looking for user perspectives.
