If I may say so, the iPod itself is probably one of the most accessible
pieces of hardware available from a visually impaired person's
perspective.
What isn't so accessible is the software to transfer material to the
device,
but as this list has shown there are various solutions to that.
It is quite difficult, unless anyone knows differently, to find a device
which will do everything one wants. The closest you could get to this
would
be the book courier or book port, which will play MP3 files and content
from
Audible. As far as I know however, they will not play content from many of
the sources for legally downloadable music though.
I hope that goes some way towards explaining the situation, but feel free
to
ask any more questions.
