I have discovered two more things about the radio listening.

When you have expanded a category of radio stations, you can choose the
radio station you want within the genre.  You are given the sampling rate
for the station, which enables you to determine what the quality of the
broadcast will be like.

Best of all, you can then copy a radio station from the list if you like it
over to your library. So you could build up a list of your favourite
stations.
