I have the IPod Shuffle and have loads of problems using Itunes.

I'm not sure how technical you are with PCs so please forgive me.

I've attached a small exe file called rebuild_db.exe.

All you need to do is use windows explorer and copy all your MP3 files to your 
IPod Shuffle as you would a normal copy to an external disk drive.
Copy the exe file to your IPod and click on it.
the rebuild_db.exe will create the database for you just like Itunes will do.
Once this has completed which only takes a few seconds, remove your IPod and it 
works fantastically.

  Hello, Thank you for starting this list!  I have an Ipod Shuffle and am 
having much trouble using Itunes.  I believe there are some good scripts for 
jaws but I am a Window-eyes user.  I have found a link to some window-eyes set 
files and installed them in my win-eyes folder but, not having installed set 
files before, don't know what to do now.  So far, they don't seem to be 
associated with the Itunes program although I have followed some instructions 
for this.  

  My Partner has tried to put some of my music files onto the Shuffle using 
Itunes, he is sighted.  Although he has managed to get it loaded with a 
selection of music, he cannot work out how to choose which files are loaded 
onto the Shuffle.  I actually got my Shuffle from Audible, as an Audible 
member, and wish to have a book on my Shuffle.  So far, I have not been able to 
do this.  

  I do love the Shuffle and am looking forward to using it but at present 
cannot use the Itunes program myself at all and would really like to be able to 
do so.  Can you help?   Annabel.
