Hi Everyone
I recently wrote to the list about the problems I was experiencing downloading
WMA files from Tesco. Having downloaded a track I clicked on it, Windows
Media Player was launched, and after some time it displayed "License
Acquisition" and then "Server not available or DNS Error".
I contacted their Customer Services team who refunded the money for the track
and suggested I purchased it and downloaded it again. They gave me
some talk about caching.
I did this and still had the same License Acquisition problems. They refunded
the money again and I have given up.
However, my husband has tried buying two tracks from Tesco and he is having the
same problem.
when I wrote last time Iain mentioned tunetribe. I tried getting a track from
them. I could not play it but Peter could.
I notice that for the Tesco tracks Internet Explorer is accessing
www.247licence.com and for the Tunetribe tracks it is trying to access
www.tunetribelicence.com. In each case it says that the server is unavailable.
I have checked the relevant security boxes in the Internet Explorer Advanced
Options, as recommended by Internet Explorer, to no avail.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Pele West
