[blindipod] iPod fully functional with older Apple firmware

Hi,
Fortunately I still had the March 23 version of bootpartition.bin, so
I rolled back to that firmware and reinstalled the Rockbox
bootloader, and now I can play all my music and Audible books again
without installing and uninstalling the Rockbox bootloader. So Ron,
you should be able to do the same thing as a temporary
workaround. If you don't have the old bootpartition.bin file I'd be
happy to send you mine if it would help, but I have no idea how
transferrable these things are from one iPod to another. I have a 2
GB iPod Nano.
I don't think any of my messages on this topic have reached the
Rockbox list for some reason. If they haven't, could someone please
tell the list that no music or Audible books in the iTunes database,
including unprotected MP3s, will play on a 2 GB iPod Nano running the
June 28 Apple firmware and Rockbox bootloader? Thanks.
All the best,
Anna
