[blindipod] The Nokia N91

Hi

I just wanted to let people know about a phone my wife now has called the
Nokia N91 which she got this week. Why am I mentioning this on the Blind
iPod list? Simply because the N91 is marketed as a music phone.

As well as being able to do all the usual things phones can do, (dealing
with calls, text messages, etc.), this phone has a 4 GB hard disk on-board
and a music player for obviously playing the stored tracks and creating
playlists.

From our point of view as visually impaired people, this looks to be a great
music player, simply because I had absolutely no difficulty at all in
putting music onto it. When connected via the supplied USB cable, it shows
up as a drive within windows Explorer and from that point it was of course
easy to do.

The disappointing part right now is that the Talks and Zooms software
packages do not at this time work on the N91. However it is hoped that we
will be able to use those packages on the phone later in the year and, when
we can, this will be a very good choice for people.
