Hi Allison,

If you hold the player so the control buttons are on the top surface, the 
headphone jack is on the side facing away from you, and the USB port is on the 
side facing toward you, there are two holes along the left edge, at just about 
the point where the player would touch a table if you laid it on one  One hole 
is just above the other.  I hope this makes sense.
