Hi Kurt,
Yes, if you stop playing a file and then start again, you start from the same
place you stopped. You only lose your place if you leave the file, unless it's
a book from Audible, in which case you don't lose your place even when you do
leave the file.
Cheers,
Anna

Subject: [blindipod] listening to the zen stone
If I start the zen stone and then stop it will it continue from where I
am or does it start at the beginning of the song/program. You said that
stuff from audible will resume with files audible adds to it. I don't
want to move between folders and then come back, I just want to insure
that if I am listening to something and have to stop it the player won't
start at the beginning. I recorded a four hour celebration of Bob
Dylan's birthday and would like to be able to listen to it and not have
it start at the beginning if I have to stop the player for some reason.
Thanks. Kurt
