[blindipod] Odd Zen Plus Problem

So, I bought my mom a 2Gb Zen Stone Plus for Mothers' Day. The player works fine on its own and works fine when I hook it up to my computer, but not when hooked up to my parent's computer. My Creative Media Lite finds it just fine and all works as it should. Their Media Lite does not find it and their Windows shows it as a generic USB storage device while mine shows it as "Stone Plus".

Since my folks are technophobes and getting the idea across that using Windows Explorer would actually be simpler than using Creative's software isn't likely to happen I need to figure this thing out. I was concerned that there might be something wrong with their front USB ports or with a driver, but my dad's old Zip drive still works fine in both front ports as does two standard Zen Stones we got over to test. Between my siblings and their spouses, myself, and my parents, we have tried a multitude of gadgets and the only ones having a problem are two different Stone Plus players, both brand new. Anyone else run into such an odd issue or have any ideas of a solution?

Chris
