It doesn't matter really because it doesn't seem to have any effect
whatsoever.  It's an Apple special feature!

Thanks to Anna's invaluable advice, I am now able to purchase tracks
from iTunes if I turn all columns off, however they do keep returning to
normal every now and then. I was just wondering, should the box to
remember the view for all sources be checked or unchecked?
