Hi Anna

Thank you , you have saved my sanity. Not sure how the Mini Player got
turned on but if it happens in the future I'll know how to turn it off again
with Insert + 3 followed by Control + M. Thank you again for all the advice
offered.

Hi Barbara,

What you need to do is tell JAWS to ignore the next command before typing
Control-M. To do this, press Insert-3 (the 3 on the number row, not the
numpad), then press Control-M. Good luck.

Cheers,
Anna

Pressed Control M. It says "This activates the Mini Player. JAWS can not
function in this mode so the Keystroke has been blocked". So no joy there
then.

Probably the mini player has become active. I think the keystroke is
control M. Try pressing this and see if it solves the problem.

Subject: [blindipod] iTunes Problem

I am using Windows XP Home and the latest version of iTunes.

All of a sudden (I didn't do anything different) iTunes has gone wonky
for
the want of a more appropriate word to describe its behaviour. When I
launch
iTunes, JAWS announces "iTunes loaded" As normal, but on the screen the
Desktop is still the main feature with an iPod small iPod symbol in the
corner of the screen. When I get a sighted person to click on this with
the
mouse nothing happens. It's like iTunes is not fully loaded. I am using
the
JAWS scripts with JAWS version 6. When I press Tab all JAWS says is
"Item
List". There is no speech when I press the Arrows. When I press Enter
the
computer makes that noise it does when there is a problem but there is
no
error message on the screen. On pressing Alt, there are no iTunes Menu
options, just Close, Minimise, Restore etc. When I press Spacebar tracks
play and the track changes when the Right/Left Arrow is pressed just as
it
normally would.

I have tried the iTunes Repair program. Removed and reinstalled the
complete
program but all is still the same. So I can not use the program at all.

Has anyone any idea what is wrong and how to fix it?

Many thanks.
