Hi
There is a remote and I wrote previously about it. You can order it from the
Apple website and it is called an iPod Radio Remote. It connects to your
Nano at the same spot where you would usually plug the USB cable in and then
you connect your headphones into the radio remote. It has a play/pause,
forward/backward, volume up/down buttons and a Hold switch. I love it and I
have the 4GB Nano.
Let me know, if you would like more info or you should have a tough time
finding it in the Apple Store online.
I hope this helps
Roger

Subject: [blindipod] accessibility issues with the Nano Ipod.
Hi Ken or any other list member who can help me. I just purchased a Nano
Ipod, per recommendation by Ken, who suggested that it would be accessible
to a totally blind person. I am having serious accessibility issues however
and therefore, I am thinking about returning it. I find it to be extremely
touch sensitive, which makes it very difficult to navigate through the menu
system, often accidentally going into areas, adversely affecting its
settings. Also, its menu system is time sensitive, which adds to its lack
of accessibility. Its click based system appears to only marginally help,
although I tried counting clicks. I am therefore asking either Ken, who
indicated having one, or any one else on the list, for any feedback, input
or suggestions, on how to improve the Nano's accessibility to totally blind
persons, thus making it usable for us.
Thanks a million!
