Hi Anna
What the rebuild tool does is to make it possible for you to put MP3 files
on your iPod, using a windows explorer-like method.
So Steph, what you will need to do is to first convert your CD's to MP3
format using a CD ripping program, something like CDEX I would recommend
which can be obtained from
www.jfwlite.com
Go to the programs link. It's very accessible.
Then when you have your MP3 files, you can use the rebuild tool as a
mechanism for putting them on the iPod.

Hi Steph,
I've never used the Rebuild tool, but I think its purpose is to do whatever
conversion is necessary and put music on your iPod without your needing to
use iTunes.
Cheers,
Anna
