Hi all,
I know it hasten been anything like 6 to 12 months since I asked about
espeak on the rockbox platform.
I would love to use my Ipod to read text files. is there any progress on
this? even if we did not get it to voice menus and the like just a text
reader that used espeak would be so cool.
I don't have any idea how hard this would be to achieve but if this is
possible it would be grate.
I know there is some problems with the licensing but hope this might one day
be overcome.
Yours hopefully.

I don't mean to discourage you with espeak. But I think you will be
waiting a while. :-)
(As I said the licensing is still an issue) and no one seems to be doing
work on it.
Anyway when I start coding on rb again (give me 6 to 12 months) I'll try
and get some progress on this.
