I'm still confused. I can't figure out where to go to find where the serial
number is displayed, and where to go to actually change these options. I can't
find any place within itunes where I can change these options.

  Hi Earle,

Before you can use Enable Disk Use, you have to be in a mode that shows the
serial number, whether the iPod is up to date or not, and things like that.
With the new Shuffle, near the top of the screen are contents and something
else - it's not Summary, but it's something similar. The two are on the same
line. It may be called something else with the older Shuffle; I don't know. But
once you find it with the JAWS cursor and left-click on it, the Enable Disk Use
script should work.

  Best,
  Anna
