Hi Chris
Yes, you can feel a little lag on faster computers, I've noticed that.
I know what is causing it and I will try to fix it.
There is however nothing which can be done about the update text you
describe. This is about how iTunes renders the text with particular
video cards and how jaws interprets it. I'll talk to Freedom Scientific
about it to see if there is anything we can do.
Glad you have installed it.

Subject: [blindipod] Re: J-Tunes 3.2
Hi all, particularly Bryan, thanks for the latest version of J-Tunes. I
can quite happily use it with JAWS 9, whereas previously it didn't seem
to want to work properly, so I'm glad this has been fixed. I have a
couple of questions, more relating to iTunes, but may have something to
do with J-Tunes as well.
1. When I update my Ipod Shuffle with the tracks from my music library,
JAWS reads the line regarding what's happening as garbage. Is this a
problem with iTunes 7.6, which I've just installed, or J-Tunes 3.2. This
happened with previous versions of both J-Tunes (3.1) and iTunes 7.4,
something like that anyway. If it's a problem with J-Tunes, could this
be fixed somehow?
2. I'm noticing a bit of sluggish performance when using J-Tunes. There
seems to be a short but noticeable delay when using iTunes 7.6 and
J-Tunes 3.2. The previous versions didn't do this, until I upgraded to
J-Tunes 3.2, where iTunes 7.4 was sluggish. It's not too sluggish, but
on my pretty faster system running Vista Home Premium with a dual core
processor running 1.8 GHZ I think and 2 GB of RAM. When I ran iTunes
with NVDA (sorry to mention that folks!), there was no sluggishness. I'm
therefore wondering if this can be fixed as well?
Otherwise, what a needed update. Thanks developers for the hard work,
greatly appreciated! Thanks again, and take care.
