Hello Kelly, I have just recently started using the ZEN STONE PLUS with
2GB. Which is the one with the stop watch. I have found it very easy to
use. Music can be loaded from either Win. Explorer or thru the CREATIVE
MEDIA LITE program. The media lite program has some hotkeys and there are
scripts available that make it fairly accessible. It also has a built in FM
radio that I enjoy for listening to ball games. In general, I really like
the ZEN STONE, but as I have not used any other type player I can't give you
an objective opinion.
One other function of the ZEN that I like is, when the power is turned off,
the player returns back to the same spot when power is turned back on. This
is very nice, as I listen to a lot of ebooks.
Steve

Subject: [blindipod] Trying To Decide Which Player to Get
Hi,
I'm considering getting an MP3 player, but I'm not sure which one
I want yet. I've ordered Anna Dresner's new book, "A Pocketful of
Sound", last night, but thought I'd ask some questions here while
waiting for it.
I've heard some good things about the Creative Zen Stone, and am
trying to find a local store that carries it (I don't want the Plus
version with the stopwatch), but I'm wondering if there are other
good players available? For instance, in looking at Wal-Mart Canada's
site, which isn't an actual online store, I saw some players by
SanDisk. I'm not sure how easy they would be to use, however. I'm
basically just looking for something that will let me listen to MP3
and Audible files.
Thanks.
Yours Sincerely,
Kelly John Sapergia
