[blindipod] Some finer Rockbox questions

Hello all,
My questions below are based on the behavior I noticed when using the iPod with
Rockbox:
1. The recent bookmarks feature is great to use; however, is there an option to
clear all the existing bookmarks? Once the bookmark list gets to 10 or 15, it
is difficult to navigate between bookmarks.
2. On activating a bookmark from the Recent bookmarks list, the file associated
with the bookmark starts playing. However, the focus does not switch to the
main screen. In other words, although the file starts playing, it is not
possible to increase or decrease the volume using the wheel, without first
pausing the file, and then using the Resume playback option to start playing it
again. Only then is the focus returned to the main screen, where one can
increase or decrease the volume by turning one's finger clockwise or
anti-clockwise around the wheel. This is an extra step that can be eliminated.
Is there a setting that brings the focus back to the main screen rightaway on
starting to play a file from the Recent bookmarks list, so that the volume can
be controlled using the wheel?
3. My third question is also related to the volume control. If I start playing
a file in low volume and then suddenly pause it in order to change some
settings, the screen is also read in the same low volume. When listening to
music in particular, one may want to listen with low volume; however, the same
volume level is not sufficient when listening to Rockbox speech, specially in
noisy locations. If one is not able to get to the sound settings in order to
increase the volume (because the Rockbox speech volume is so low), the only
other workaround is to start playing the file again, increase the volume, and
then pause in order to change a setting. This is very cumbersome.
It would be convenient if there are two volume settings -- one for the Rockbox
volume and one for the audio volume.
Is such a setting already available?
4. On running the script for voicing files and folders, the voice files read
out the names of all files except the bookmark files with the .bmk extension.
These files are spelled out, even if these .bmk files are present at the time
of running the script.
Why is this so?
5. Finally, have any of you used the Rockbox configuration files?
Many thanks as ever for any responses.
Geetha
