Hi Everyone,

I was sent a new Shuffle by Apple because my battery was dead, even though I
had the Shuffle only a few months.  Meanwhile I got a new, more powerful
computer.  I installed the Itunes software and supposedly formatted the new
Shuffle. 

Unfortunately, my Shuffle won't play.  It shows up in the source list and I
can view its contents.  The Shuffle was auto-filled twice just to insure
that there wasn't a problem, but it still won't play.  Restoring or
resetting it doesn't help.  I even tried different headphones.  The battery
indicates that it's fully charged and the software says that the Shuffle
doesn't need to be re-formatted.  Is it possible that Apple sent me a
Shuffle that won't work with Itunes 5?
