Hi Kane,

Try the following:-

1. Save all your subscriptions to an OPML file. You do this from the
export menu.

2. Uninstall Juice.

3. Delete the c:\program files\juice folder and all its contents.

4. Reinstall Juice.

5. Import your .opml file from File/import.

Note that you will lose all your settings in Juice when you do this, but it
does often fix it.

All the best

Steve

Subject: [blindipod] Juice: Increasingly Sticky/Inconsistent Downloads

Hi, everyone.

In general I've been extremely happy with JuiceReceiver as a podcast
fetcher. More and more, however, I'm encountering downloads that get stuck
in transit--forever "processing" or at "0%," but never completed.

This does not occur in connection to all my downloads. But it does happen
particularly with C-Span podcasts feeds and with certain feeds from Equal
Access to Software & Information (eASI) podcasts. And after I try to
closeout of Juice, almost every time I encounter a non-descript error
message saying "Errors have been encountered" and referring me to a log
file.
I've used JuiceReceiver now for about eight months. Is there something I
can do to make it work more consistently well? I've uninstalled and
reinstalled this program, and still have the problems.
I'm thinking of clearing all my downloads and subscriptions from Juice's
memory and starting over again. But is there a better way?

Thanks.

-Kane
