Hi, you will lose your music if you leave Napster. also, regarding devices, you can not just copy files to a device, it must be a Napster to Go device and as far as I can tell you plug in the device and when running Napster get a wizzard to install the device. Next you transfer files to the device by selecting for example an album, then add, then transfer to device.

Hope this helps.

So far the only two devices I've found that work well for me are the Pacmate Omni and the NOkia n82.

Subject: [blindipod] napster question

Napster supposedly has two plans, one where you can play music on your
computer which puts WMA files on your computer that you can play. The
other allows you to put music on portable devices. How does that work,
because I copied the files and they didn't play on my Zenn, and do you
lose the use of your WMA music if you leave Napster? Thanks. Kurt
