Hi, Tom.
Rockbox ought to work on the fourth generation iPod, because I coached
someone last year through the process of installing Rockbox on such a
machine. The only type of iPod that I know Rockbox is not compatible
with, is the Shuffle.
How much do you know about Rockbox?
Are you aware of the rockbox Users Mailing List?
Do you know how to install this program and make all elements of it speak?
If the answer to any of these questions is NO, write back and I'll
provide help.
