no I did all that...what it was is that nobody on that rockbox site mentionedd 
any about having to create a new music folder altogether and use that for the 
clips.
i redid that and started my music from scratch, and it is working now.
well it is certainly not kaws but does help a bot to know what songs are in the 
folder. so again thanks for your patience:)
