Thanks for that advice. The  spec for the MP3 player in question says
"Supports Subscription Music Stores "
This sounds rather ambiguous to me and might imply while not saying they play 
iTunes content. They probably don't, but that is very misleading in my humble 
opinion.

  No, you can't assume any MP3 player will play your iTunes content. Only iPods 
can play protected content purchased from the iTunes store, and many players 
can't play the M4A/AAC format iTunes uses by default for ripping CDs. The only 
thing you know for sure about an MP3 player is that it plays MP3 files; for any 
other file type, you need to find out what the player can do.
