[blindipod] Problems with iPod

I hope someone can help with this one.
I am using an iPod Nano 2GB. I disconnected it a couple of days ago and all was
fine. Now, when I connect it to the PC, the screen on the iPod shows it is
charging but it doesn't seem to be connecting to iTunes. You don't get that
sound when a USB device is plugged in, iTunes does not open even though it is
set to and when I open it manually, the iPod is not displayed. I've tried
another iPod on the PC and it's working fine. Also, I've tried this iPod on
another PC and nothing either. So it's the iPod and not the PC. It is playing
fine, I just can't get it connected to update or even restore it to get rid of
any problems.
Any ideas?
