Howdy, Rich.  I do not believe it does.  Every time I try to go into the
record thingie, my IPod locks right up, and I have to re-boot it.  It does
create a record folder on the unit, but I don't see how one could record
with it.  I wonder if you could use one of those things from Griffin?  I
think you can record with some sort of external unit in the original Apple
firmware; I wonder if that is also true in Rockbox.  Sorry I can't help
further.  Maybe someone else on here knows the answers to our questions.
