Hi.

Consider yourself lucky. As of now, I've just got a message stating, loading 
rockbox bootloader. Ipod version, tisheeba something, then, no partition found. 
God, *please* don't tell me I messed this up and damaged the player I just 
payed $600 for? Is there a way to reset it to start over again? Please help!

  I'm glad no one took the time to help because I got the boot loader loaded.
  But now I'm not getting any rock box voice.
  I've tried the 2 ways one can boot to bring up the voices.
  I must be forgetting a step but reading all the rock box information I got to 
the end and where it asks to disconnect the ipod and one should be greeted by 
the voice.
  Any ideas what I did wrong?
  I hope someone can help I'm not sure if I don't get answers because I'm not 
clear in the help I need or people just find my questions useless?
  I'd like to know so I can correct myself.

  Brian does an excellent job on walking you through the instalation of 
rockbox, on the portable player portle page. In the ipod products, I think- but 
there are a lot of great resources there, nevertheless.

    Hi all,
    I'm trying to follow the directions from rock box to get the software 
loaded to make my ipod 4g to work.
    I get the following error message and don't know where to go next.
    "cannot open loader image file bootloader-4g.bin
    I have successfully   determined the physical drive is 2.
    The second step created the apple file and then I'm stuck!
    I listened to the ipod demo from www.blindcooltech.com
    Unfortunately he doesn't go through the steps of loading the rock box 
software.  
    Thanks for any ideas!
