Hi Steve

Apologies for the confusion.

I meant that as I do not download many tracks, I record them with Goldwave from 
the sound card.  At least I would if I could get my new USB card to work with 
goldwave.  My husband records the tracks, and I have not noticed much 
degradation.

If anyone has any experience of using USB soundcards with Goldwave, I would be 
grateful if they would share them with me!

If I like the music enough I buy it on CD.
