I have a video ipod and use the Real Music store for all my music purchases.

HI Janet,
I eMusic. The files have no DRM protection, so they're easy to play
in anything.
The RealPlayer music store is accessible. Unfortunately, if I
transfer music from RealPlayer to an iPod Shuffle, the playing order
of the Shuffle is totally scrambled, so this is not a viable option for me.
By contrast, the iTunes music store isn't very accessible, but once
the content is on my computer, it's easy to transfer to my
Shuffle. So I have to choose between accessible purchase and the
ability to use the content as I wish once I have bought it. So I
generally ask my sighted husband to help me purchase from iTunes if I
want content not available at eMusic.
I know some people are using Napster, but I've never tried it since
their files don't work with iPods.
Cheers,
Anna
