Hi Kim
OK what you say is interesting, but of course there are many people who do not
have the ability to use the jaws cursor and manage their purchases from the
iTunes Store and manage burning CD's etc without to some extent some guess
work. But let's take your point about the later iPod Nano models because
obviously I do not have access to each and every iPod product. It would be
helpful if you could let us know what it is that is causing the problem in
terms of reading the tracks stored on the device. Is the colour different? Are
the items not in their own list such as the other iPod products? Please let me
know what it is and I am sure we can work on it, but without knowing it's a
little tricky ...

Hi,
I have a friend who has been using itunes without jaws scripts for as long as
she has used ipods. about 5 months to be a little more precise. The scripts for
jaws
from my experience do not make the library/ipod contents visible with an ipod
classic, or the 3rd generation nano, because firmware in those ipods is changed
just enough to throw them off. X-play 3 is out now, and provides accessibility
to the music transfering on and off the ipod, as well as restoring and updating
the device. Its price is much more reasonable too, with two computer licenses
for $39.99 US. With itunes, I have used commands from within itunes itself to
transfer a whole library, instead of using the scripts. They are not accurate
100% of the time, and as I said before, do not work with the classic or nano
for the purpose of tranfering music.

I want to clarify my previous post so as not to have peple fly off the
handel with an incorrect interpretation. I have nothing against the
authors of these scripts making money from the product they are
putting a lot of very respectable work in to. The opinion stated was
that it is functionality that should be included in the huge
investment in JAWS. It is not to afend those who put much appreciated
hard work in to a product that does make it work quite nicely.
