Hi

First, on this week's Main Menu live, you can hear Gerry Chevalier from
Humanware and Mike Calvo from Serotek talking about the new upcoming features
of the Victor Reader Stream, including what is new in the 1.2 release and the
new ways in which the two companies are partnering with each other. This
includes being able to download protected content such as audio described
movies to your Stream and also the ability to download music from Amazon and
listen to text. These are some great features and I love the way they have
implemented them. In a moment I will direct you to some audio where you can
listen to samples, but what I like is the way in which your speech engine,
pitch and rate preferences are transferred to the Stream when spoken text
output is necessary such as at the start of an audio described movie, very
cool. When listening to the Main Menu live programme, that particular segment
starts about 73 minutes into the programme.

The link to the Main Menu podcast of the program itself is

and the link to take you to the page of audio samples of the Stream in
partnership with system Access Mobile Network is
