[blindipod] Ipod Shuffle Problem

Hi all,
asking on behalf of my girlfriend, does anyone know why, after 5 hours, her
Ipod Shuffle is still flashing orange when it's on charge? Her laptop, which
runs Windows XP SP2, recognizes it via iTunes fine, so it can't be that.
This appeared to have only happened today, and when she tries it off charge
nothing works. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
