[blindipod] mp3 and Ipod

Hello list,
I was wondering if anyone knows how to make mp3 files on a Ipod behave like
the m4a files? What I mean is with the mp3 files, I can?t fast forward or
rewind. The track just starts all over from the beginning. That and I can?t
stop the track and restart at the same point.
