[blindipod] Itunes and WMA

Hi All
I've just downloaded a whole load of music and realised it is in the WMA format.
My Itunes is set to convert to MP3 at 192 bit when importing music.
Will Itunes automatically import these files and convert them?
Or do I need to convert them first with another app?
