The iPod shuffle is also very, very light and easy to carry around. It
comes with a lanyard to hang around your neck. It also has no moving
parts internally whereas the larger, hard disk players do and these
need some care. The real question, I'm coming to believe about all
these different players/recorders is, how are you going to use them.
If you are going to throw some music and/or books on them, take a
listen, and then move onto something else, the lower storage and
therefore cheaper models are all you need. If you want to carry a
library around you and only add to it, you need something with lots
and lots of storage and therefore your investment will be much
greater. If I lost my shuffle I would be annoyed and sad, but I would
and could simply replace it and go on. If I lost my library of music,
that would be a disaster! ~Merrill
