Hi Brian,
As a napster subscriber for a while I can tell you about the
differences between napster to go and napster subscription. Napster
to go is like ITunes in that you can purchase tracks when you want at
their cost, but a subscription is like $12 per month and lets you
download and listen online to as many as you want as long as you
maintain the subscription. If you let it lapst or intentionally get
rid of it in some way then you lose access to all of your tunes you
downloaded during the time you had the subscription. It's kind of
like renting tracks. There are some things I don't like about the
idea at all, but it was the best thing all things considered at the
time I first subscribed. The disadvantage to napster to go is that
you can not listen to the songs online to check them out first. I
think you might be able to listen to a small sample and not more than
that. I'm not sure. Not a big deal though of course. They do have a
7 day trial available.
