[blindipod] Rock Box

HI all,

I have an I-Pod 30-gig video, and I am a little disappointed. About six or
seven months ago, I had gotten this I-Pod and installed Rock Box on it. I
found, at that time, that Rock Box was really sluggish. I'd move my hand
around the scroll part to hear my songs and all, and it would take forever
to read each one. It was like agonizing. I also used the Voice box
scripts, but it seemed really slow. I also tried to use it with an I-home
we have here, and it seemed to totally freeze it up to where eventually,
Rock Box quit working at all, so I had to take it off and just use AnnaPod,
but that is not very good because I can't chose what to play or anything. I
am thinking of trying to reinstall rock Box, but here are my questions. Is
this experience I have described common for using Rock Box, or might I have
done something wrong? Also, if it was common six or seven months ago, does
it work better now than it did? Also, has anyone successfully used an I-Pod
with Rock box on any accessories like an i-Home or speaker sold for the
I-Pod? Thanks for any help with any of this.

Have a blessed day,

Nicki

We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in
despair;
persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed.
