I had my dad check, he said there was no v2 written anywhere that he could see.
He did, however, give me both the model number and barcode off my box.
They are:
model number:  sdmx4-8192-c70
barcode: 80-56-04946-008g

I don't know if this helps any or not.
Plus, i read that the v2 will say supports audible content on the 
package, but my dad couldn't see that listed anywhere.
