No need to uninstall JAWS. Just run the setup and choose the repair option.
Before going through that, though, have you done the color training in
iTunes? ,
I'll paste the relevant part of the manual below:
1. Next, you need to load at least one audio file, preferably an MP3
file, into your "Library". We will discuss the purpose of the "Library"
later on. For now, simply press "CONTROL+O" within iTunes, which will bring
into view a standard "Open" Dialog Box. Use this Dialog Box to browse to a
file and press "ENTER" to bring it into the "Library".
2. Now, press "ALT+CONTROL+WINDOWS+I", "CONTROL+CAPS LOCK+I" on a
laptop. The purpose of this keystroke will be fully described later, but in
summary this places focus upon the "Music" section of your "ITunes Library"
from whichever part of the application you happen to be focused upon.
3. Press "ALT+CONTROL+SHIFT+Z". JAWS will provide you with
instructions to follow so as to accurately train the colours. At the end of
following the spoken instructions, JAWS will exit iTunes so that the next
time you start the program, the colour assignments will be recognised.
4. Now re-start the iTunes program and press "ALT+CONTROL+WINDOWS+I" to
move back to the "Music" section.
5. Use the "UP" and "DOWN" arrow keys to move through the list which is
in focus. If you hear items such as "music", "podcasts" etc being
announced, then the colours have been successfully trained.

Subject: [blindipod] JAWS and iTunes
About the problem with no speech from JAWS within iTunes I've been having. I
think the problem is with a JAWS setting rather than with iTunes as it's
working okay for a sighted person. If I uninstalled JAWS and then
reinstalled it, would it keep the settings as of now or fix the problem by
reverting to original default settings?
