I amusing Anapod Explorer and delete songs from my Nano that way, using the
delete key. But, I still have not figured out how to delete songs from the
iTunes library.

  Hi,

It does seem that it can be a bit hard to get an answer at times on this
list. I have been trying to get an answer on the following.

Does anyone know how to delete a file from an iPod Nano, I can find the
delete option, but no matter what I do after that, the file doesn't get
  deleted.

With regards to answering your question, if you don't have rockbox on your
iPod, you need to recreate the iPod database so that the iPod knows what
songs you have copied on to it. Try downloading the rebuild tool from
  http://www.hartgen.org/rebuild.exe

Copy this file to the root of the iPods drive, then when it is still
connected to your computer, brows to your iPod and double click the
Rebuild.exe file. This will rebuild the iPods database. Then once this is
completed, your music should show up on your iPod.

  Hope this helps,
  Brett.

Come on, there must be someone knows the answer. Everything appear to be
working fine, but, I am not able to transfer files. Please, please, I am
stuck. I can log onto my ipod, copy files there, but, when I go onto the
music folder that I created on the ipod, nothing appears. Using ipod video
  30gb.

  Thank you.

  Hello all,
I really need your help as I am totally stuck! I have logged on my ipod
from my computer and created a folder called music then I transferred some
mp3 into this folder by copying and pasting. However, when I disconnect
from usb and go into the music folder on the ipod, the mp3s are not there.
Where am I going wrong please?

  Thank you.
