Hello list.

I have no idea of what technology is out there relating to ipod's, portable
media players and the interaction with a blind person.

My question is this and is quite simple.

~What is the best and most easy to use portable media player that i can use to
play largely mp3 files on?

I would like the capacity of the player to be at least 1 gb and the unit must
be small and take a 3.5mm stereo jack so i can plug in any type of earphone.

Is there software out there that would enable me to purchase an ipod or similar
and install onto it with the unit then speaking the menus etc. to me?

thanks in anticipation.

Stephen
