Hi Vince,

In the case of the iPod Shuffle second generation, that's not true.  I have 
never been successful at finding the iPod tab in the preference settings, 
thereby making use of Anapod Explorer impossible.  Yet, I can use iTunes to 
download music onto my iPod.  So that means the iPod is definitely 
connected, but whatever the iPod tab is or wherever it's supposed to be, it 
is absolutely a hidden mystery.  At one point, someone on this list said she 
got sighted help and help from an Apple rep and was finally successful in 
working through this.  But I believe the problem isn't with connectivity. 
Just my two cents.
