[blindipod] iRiver with Rockbox hangs when I record

Hi,
I'm using version 1.28EU of the Rockbox with the iRiver player. I've tried
to make a few short recordings with the built-in mic just to see how good it
sounds but I keep having to reset the unit each time I enter the recording
screen. A couple of times I entered on the recording screen and could hear
what the mic was picking up in my front room but I didn't hit the record
button. I pressed 'stop' because I thought that would take me back to the
root menu but the unit froze. I'm able to record with the mic but when I've
finished I have to shove a paper clip into the side of the unit to reset it
before I can play or listen to anything.
Does anyone know why I have to keep resetting the iRiver after activating
the recording screen?...ta
