Hi Iain,
the screen you discribed ist the corect one to insert the 11-chracter
number. But jaws unfortunitly does not detect the edit field, which cursor
you ever try. I got the same problem just like you. The only way to put the
cursor into this field is using the mouse ? my wife did it for me; after ten
times I tried myselve. Ther seems to be no other way. I hope, I could give
you helpful informations.
Best regards
Jan

Steve,
There is a lid that pulls of and you can then attach it to a USB port. I
have managed to get past that stage but on inserting the CD and accepting
the licence, I cannot insert the eleven-character serial number for the
Ipod. I am using JAWS 6.2. How do I get to where I can insert the serial
number. The only part of this screen I can get access to is the 'back'
button.
Iain.

Subject: [blindipod] a few questions
hi. i have just had an i-pod for christmas. i haven't got it up and running
as yet it's the i-pod shuffle 512 gig model. i'm a bit puzzled as it doesn't
seem to have any connecting cables in the package, just the i-pod, earphones
and carrying strap to put round your neck. plus of course loads of
documentation. is it usual for these devices to come minus USB lead? i have
the docking station which was purchased separately.
tia.
