Hi,

I'm over here in the US and I was looking on ebay for this MP3 player.  I 
wasn't able to find an HD340 but I did find a couple of units for sale that 
say H340.  Are these the same models?  While I was reading the description 
on the H340 I noticed that it had a built-in FM tuner which reminded me of 
another question I had.  Most MP3 players that I've seen that have had radio 
tuners, always just have an FM tuner and not an AM tuner.  Does anyone know 
of any MP3 players that also include an AM tuner?  I'd like to have the AM 
tuner so I can listen to talk show and sports casts which are nearly always 
on AM stations.  Thanks!

Hi Kev.
Got a HD340 for my wife from Argos for I think £270.
Even without the speech if you get rid of the folder format the thing comes
with and store your music in folders from the route everything is very
easily navigable either track by track or album/folder by album/folder.
The audio quality is also very good!


I'm waiting for Brian to fully test the rockbox stuff cause it's hers not
mine and I'd best not break it!

I'm based in the UK and am in the market for an Iriver 40GB player with
Rockbox.

My questions are:

1. Which Iriver players are supported by Rockbox?  So far, I've found the
Iriver HD300 and HD340 that are both 40GB players.

2. Can anybody recommend the cheapest place in the UK to buy the player?
