If you pop the cap off the end of the unit, you will find the USB connector
there. The hole thing slides into your computer's USB port if you choose to
use it that way. I have no experience with the docking station.

hi. i have just had an i-pod for christmas. i haven't got it up and running
as yet it's the i-pod shuffle 512 gig model. i'm a bit puzzled as it doesn't
seem to have any connecting cables in the package, just the i-pod, earphones
and carrying strap to put round your neck. plus of course loads of
documentation. is it usual for these devices to come minus USB lead? i have
the docking station which was purchased separately.
