While conducting the TVA shorebird survey at Jonathan Creek, Barry Hart and
I spotted a Western Sandpiper. Other birds of interest were over 100 Rusty
Blackbirds. This was the best flock I've seen, in perfect light at close
range.
Least Sandpiper - 6
Forster's Tern -1
At Blood River we couldn't find many shorebirds but we did watch one lone
Greater White Fronted Goose come in with a flock of mallards.
Forster's Tern - 5
Hundreds of Bonaparte's Gulls are feeding in the bays now.
