[birdky] Sloughs & Uniontown Dam

28º partly cloudy rising to 45º
Ho hum.
All but deep water ice covered. Nothing on the river side of woods
tract. Only birds visible from Woods tract were at the far end of the
impoundment. Saw some Snows in the air, Canadas on the far open
water, and possibly 1 Tundra - hard to tell with the back light.
I covered Hardy Slough, Woods Tract, Anderson Pond, 268 slough,
Horseshoe Road, Grassy Pond/Powell's Lake Unit, and Uniontown Dam,
Crenshaw Tract.
Savannah Sparrows (2) at GP/PL.
Anderson Pond had some open water with lots of Canadas, a few
Mallards, Widgeons, and Coots.
Bald Eagle on the ground near Crenshaw Tract.
At Uniontown Dam the water has fallen somewhat. 30 Coots and a few
Ringbill Gulls.
