[birdky] vulture flock, Fox Sparrow

As we proceeded down the length of our farm on our afternoon walk yesterday, a
very loosely strung out flock of around 50 Turkey Vultures passed by from north
to south. I guess they saw on the weather report that another artic front is
approaching.
The high winds from last week's artic blast felled a dead oak tree in the
woods. It landed right in the middle of a large greenbriar patch. I walked down
its trunk yesterday morning and made my best effort to pish. (Dave sounds like
a wren. I sound like somebody blowing air through his teeth.) Nothing appeared
from the tangle, but a Fox Sparrow appeared on a branch overhead - my first of
the season. I'm sure it would have come closer if my pishing hadn't been so
pitiful.
